Internship Onboarding

The DiWA Center proudly welcomed its inaugural batch of interns, comprising seven newly accepted student interns, who successfully onboarded to embark on the center's internship program. These promising individuals hail from the University of the Philippines Mindanao and the Partido State University (ParSU), representing a diverse pool of talent from different academic backgrounds.

As part of the center's overarching mission to foster the next generation of researchers, this onboarding signifies the commencement of its year-round internship program. Designed to provide students with valuable hands-on experience and practical training, the program aims to cultivate skills and expertise in various fields, including mathematics, biology, communications, and programming.

Through this immersive internship experience, students will have the opportunity to work alongside seasoned professionals, engage in meaningful research projects, and gain insights into the intricacies of real-world applications. By bridging the gap between academic learning and practical experience, the program seeks to equip participants with the necessary tools and competencies to thrive in their future careers.

With a commitment to nurturing talent and promoting interdisciplinary collaboration, the DiWA Center is dedicated to providing a supportive environment where interns can develop and hone their skills, expand their knowledge base, and contribute meaningfully to the advancement of scientific research and innovation.

As the first batch of interns embarks on this enriching journey, the DiWA Center looks forward to witnessing their growth, accomplishments, and contributions to the center's mission of promoting health resilience and addressing pressing public health challenges in the region and beyond.
