Statistics Lecture

Mr. Zython Paul Lachica, our esteemed project officer, spearheaded a comprehensive seminar on a wide array of statistical concepts and their practical applications. This two-hour seminar, conducted in honor of the 34th National Statistics Month (NSM), was organized by the Mathematics Unit and the Sci-Mates Club students at the Philippine Science High School Southern Mindanao Campus (PSHS - SMC).


Under the theme of 'Accelerating Progress: Promoting Data and Statistics for a Healthy Philippines,' the seminar aimed to shed light on the pivotal role of statistical methodologies in driving progress and fostering a healthier nation. Mr. Lachica's expertise in the field of statistics brought valuable insights to the discussion, aligning seamlessly with the Philippine Science High School's unwavering commitment to nurturing research excellence among its students.

The event garnered immense interest from both students and faculty members, with a remarkable turnout of over 330 attendees. Throughout the seminar, participants engaged actively in discussions, eagerly absorbing knowledge and gaining a deeper understanding of statistical principles and their real-world applications.
